Use Mint Mobile’s Black Friday Coupon Code for a Free Month of a 5GB Plan

If there’s one expense that adds up over the course of a year, it’s a phone bill. For the best coverage in your area and unlimited data, it’s hard to avoid paying a pretty penny. To mitigate these costs, Mint Mobile is offering a “buy two months, get one month free” limited-time deal for new customers on the 5GB plan with the code FREEMONTH. This comes out to an upfront payment of $30 and is available until January 2, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. PT.

Without the code, Mint Mobile has a 50% off deal for Black Friday, which allows you to get unlimited premium wireless, up to 40GB per month and videos streaming at 480p for an upfront payment of $45 for three months. This comes out to $15 per month.

If you’d like an entire year of unlimited wireless for $15 per month (an upfront payment of $180) and are in the market for a new phone, you can buy one through Mint Mobile to secure the deal. This deal also provides up to 40GB per month and 480p video streaming. Phone prices are as low as $290 or $25 per month.

If you have two phones in your AT&T or Verizon plan and are willing to switch to Mint Mobile, there is also a “buy one, get one free” deal for new customers. With this deal, you have to buy a three-month plan and then you can get another three-month plan for free. Both phones must be on the same type of plan. CNET recommends Mint Mobile’s 15GB plan as one of the best cell phone plans, which is now down to $15 per month for three months.

Note that taxes and extra fees will apply no matter the deal or plan. Of course, you will also want to make sure that Mint Mobile offers coverage in your area

Why this deal matters

Earlier this year, Mint Mobile offered $15 per month for an entire year, but the caveat was that you did have to buy a new device to get the deal. The “$45 for three months” deal is great because you don’t need to add the expense of a new phone to secure it for yourself. Even better is the “buy two months, get one month free” with the FREEMONTH coupon code because Mint Mobile rarely offers a month free since its prices are already so low. And again, no need to buy a brand-new phone to use this coupon. This is a great deal to take advantage of before the year is up to lower your 2025 phone costs.
